BUFFALO MOUNTAIN

i-80 recently acquired a 100% interest in the Buffalo Mountain property, located within the Battle Mountain Trend, from Nevada Gold Mines. Buffalo Mountain is host to two mineralized zones located approximately 12 kilometres south-west of the Lone Tree Complex, one of which is currently being permitted for open pit mining (Second Chanse deposit). It is expected that mineralization mined at Second Chanse will be processed at the Lone Tree leach pad. The property is also host to the parallel Lynn zone that has the potential to become a significant second gold resource at Buffalo Mountain.

GEOLOGY

Buffalo Mountain is composed of multiple structurally controlled zones of oxide mineralization located in limestones and sandstones of the Mississippian to Permian Havallah sequence. Mineralization is believed to be of distal-disseminated origin from nearby Jurassic aged intrusions. Alteration associated with the mineralization includes silicification and decarbonatization.
